I’m glad I began learning math through the unique perspective that IMACS provides, both because of how it helped me grasp material as I progressed to advanced math courses and by encouraging me to confidently explore math and logic further.
The IMACS Path to Success


Saachi Mody from IMACS in 1st Grade to MIT!
Saachi started with IMACS in first grade. During her time in IMACS, Saachi completed all five levels of our Mathematics Enrichment program and was part of the second cohort of public school students to complete the Elements of Mathematics: Foundations math program for highly gifted and talented middle school students.
During high school, Saachi was the recipient of a number of awards and honors, including a 2023 National Merit Scholarship and a 2022-2023 Rotary Club Scholarship, and she was a 2023 runner up for the Pathfinders Award for Academic Excellence. She additionally won fourth place in the Biomedical Engineering category at the 2022 International Science and Engineering Fair, as well as first and fifth place awards in the 2022 Florida State Science Olympiad.
Saachi was accepted to MIT, Carnegie Mellon, and the University of Florida as an Honors and Platinum Scholar. She chose MIT, where she plans to study Neural Computation followed by an MD-PhD program.
