Each IMACS center provides unique partnership opportunities with local schools.

AP® Computer Science for Schools

AP® Computer Science: Java Programming is a web-based computer science course leading to the College Board's Advanced Placement Computer Science exam. The College Board has listed eIMACS as an authorized online provider. As a result, schools that teach this course are NOT required to submit an audit to the College Board.

  • Activities automatically graded and entered into the gradebook
  • Additional challenges beyond the scope of the AP exam for advanced students

Distance Learning

IMACS online Computer Science and Advanced Mathematical Logic allow students to study at the university level while still in middle and high school. This opportunity provides advanced students a meaningful outlet for their academic talents and an incredible head start over their peers upon entering college. An Aptitude Test is required before enrollment.

ISLANDscience

ISLANDscience is an online collection of science simulations - and accompanying scripted lesson plans - that transforms the middle school classroom into an interactive science lab. All 85+ computer simulations are aligned to state standards. Using the scientific method to investigate each simulation, ISLANDscience students develop a deep and lasting understanding of even the most challenging concepts.
