Elementary Enrichment Track (2nd grade - 4th grade)

IMACS Elementary Math Enrichment - 8:40am-10:00am
IMACS Elementary Math Enrichment is the second level in the Math Enrichment sequence. This class uses math games and logic puzzles as a means of teaching bright students to think critically and logically. Before enrolling in this class, your child must attend a free Placement Class.

IMACS Beginning Chess 10:10am-11:10am
This class helps students develop patience, planning and reasoning skills through mental competition. Independent thinking and decision making are important components of Beginning Chess.

Right-Brain Combination - 11:20am-12:20pm
This exciting class is on a rotating schedule with both subjects taught twice a month. Each subject has its own instructor who specializes in the course.

Fine Arts by Monkey See Monkey Do is designed to bring out and cultivate the natural creativity in young children. In addition to learning art fundamentals, students are challenged with new techniques, introduced to Art History and given the opportunity to work with a variety of media. An experienced art teacher from Monkey See Monkey Do Art Studio leads every class in an easy to understand, step-by-step manner.

Read | Write | Create is brought to you by Book n Cookin! Each quarter students learn about a particular literary genre. After listening to a piece of literature, students play games and interpret the work through a creative piece of their own! The instructor, who has a master's degree in education, draws upon years of experience teaching and guides students as they write poetry and other forms of literature.
